Cancel an Ocean Star Estates Lot Reservation

To cancel a reservation and receive a refund of the deposit paid, we must receive a written, signed and dated notice of cancellation from you before the 8th day following the date of your signature on the Ocean Star Estates Real Estate Reservation Agreement. There are NO REFUNDS on the deposit once this deadline has passed and payment has been received by us (i.e., you sent a check, or your credit card has been charged by us).

Note that credit cards will not be processed/checks will not be deposited before the 8th day following the date of your signature on the Ocean Star Estates Real Estate Reservation Agreement.

You may:

1. Buyer's Own Cancellation Notice

The cancellation notice must include the following information:

  • The buyer's name, which must be the same as the contact name indicated on the Ocean Star Estates Real Estate Reservation Agreement .
  • A declaration that buyer is canceling the reservation of a certain specified lot or lots in Ocean Star Estates.
  • A signature and date. The signature must be by the same person who signed the Ocean Star Estates Real Estate Reservation Agreement .

We would appreciate it if the cancellation notice included the reason for the cancellation.

Email the scanned notice to info@oceanstarestates.com. A copy of the processed cancellation notice, signed by us, will be mailed to you.

Buyer Information

Please indicate your contact name, which should be the same name that was indicated on the Real Estate Reservation Agreement.

Lot Cancellation Information

Please indicate the lot(s) you are cancelling your reservation of.

Reason for Cancellation

We would appreciate it if the cancellation notice included the reason for the cancellation.

Refund

Please select the relevant Refund option. If you are an individual or a business and your deposit has not already been processed by us because the refund period (7 days) has not expired, select option 1 under the header Individual(s) or Business.

If you are an individual or a business and your deposit has already been processed by us because the refund period (7 days) has expired, select option 2 under the header Individual(s) or Business.

If you did not pay a deposit because you were going to purchase the lot using your self-directed IRA, select option 1 under the header Self-Directed IRA.

Notice

Buyer must sign and date the Notice. The signature must be by the same person who signed the Ocean Star Estates Real Estate Reservation Agreement .

Email the scanned notice to info@oceanstarestates.com. We will confirm receipt with you. A copy of the processed Cancellation Notice, signed by us, will be mailed to you.

When will I receive my refund?

A refund, if warranted, will be mailed to you (along with a copy of the cancellation notice signed by Ocean Star Estates) within 10 business days following receipt of the Real Estate Reservation Cancellation Notice or buyer's own cancellation notice.
