Change an Ocean Star Estates Lot Reservation

If you want to change a reservation from one lot to another lot, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Ensure new lot being reserved is available

Check the Lots for Sale Table available online to ensure that the lot you want hasn't been sold (refresh the page to ensure you have the latest information). Please note that if there is a discrepancy between the plat map "sold" information and that on the Lot Information Table, the latter prevails.

Step 2: Complete change agreement

Complete the Ocean Star Estates Real Estate Reservation Change Agreement, available online (pdf format):

Step I: Buyer to Complete

Buyer Information

Complete all the fields in this section. Please ensure that the contact name is the same as the contact name provided on the Real Estate Reservation Agreement.

Requested Change to Reservation

Enter your requested change. You must include the original reservation - block/lot AND price; and the requested change - block/lot AND price. Sign and date where indicated in Step I. The signature must be by the same person who signed the Real Estate Reservation Agreement.

Email the Change Agreement to Ocean Star Estates, LLC to request the reservation change:

Step II: Ocean Star Estates to Complete

We will complete Step II of the Change Agreement. The requested change will either be approved with no changes; approved with changes (e.g., the requested change in Step I omitted a lot price or gave an incorrect lot price); or not approved with a reason provided (e.g., the lot is not available). We will then fax or email the form to you.

If the requested change is approved with no changes, then your lot reservation change is completed.

If the requested change is not approved, we will contact you to discuss other options and see if we can agree on an approved change. You would then need to submit a new Change Agreement.

Step III: Buyer to Complete if Approved with Changes

If the requested change is approved with changes, and you accept the changes, you will need to sign and date where indicated in Step III. Email the form back to us (see Step I: Buyer to Complete, above).

A copy of the Reservation Change Agreement will be mailed to you along with your Closing Packet, or separately if the Closing Packet has already been mailed.
