Building ProcessYou've purchased your lot and now you're ready to start building, but where do you start? The building process section will be your guide to getting you started on the construction of your new investment. 1. Contact the U.S. office at info@rogueinvestor.com to let us know of your desire to begin the building process. 2. Soil Stability Testing: If necessary, soil stability testing may be done to ensure proper building on your lot. 3. All Architectural Plans, including but not limited to all Civil, Structural, Electrical and Water plans must be drawn up and submitted to the ACC for approval. Please be sure to review the covenants found below to ensure no building guidelines are violated. 4. Once all of these documents are submitted to the ACC and approved, they are submitted to the government offices for approval and for receipt of permits. The government offices are: the Dominican College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (CODIA), the City Hall in Luperon and the Tourism office. (This process will be taken care of by the construction company with a signed authorization by the client.) Pricing and MaterialsBuilding prices vary from $50/sq.ft. to $100/sq.ft. The materials also vary as the prices do. View our Materials List for details on which materials you can expect at each price.
