Tourism Investment In Luperon

There are plans for a tourism investment of some US$1,200,000,000 in Punta Alma, Puerto Blanca, Luperon of which the first stage would be a 65 million dollar investment. This appears to be the revamped Atlantica project - a search revealed an advert for the Resort Development Director (see second link).

A source said that Punta Alma is currently in the process of obtaining permits, and they anticipate beginning the digging of the port by the end of this year, 2009. Lot sales will begin in 2010.

The company Terriomax Holdings will invest 1.2 billion dollars in developing the resort Punta Alma projecting lift on the left bank of the Bay of Luperon, which generate more than four thousand direct jobs.
