IMPORTANT: Any name provided above MUST be exactly as it appears on that person’s passport.

For any person named above who does not have a passport, please provide a driver’s license number AND state or province where issued in the meantime. However, that person should begin the application process for a passport as soon as possible. Any individual (or SDIRA account holder) named on the title must have a current passport in order to purchase property in the Dominican Republic; any representative of a non-Dominican Republic business named on the title also must have a current passport in order to purchase property in the country. The Dominican Republic Title Registry will not transfer title without this documentation. You can close on your lot and sign a Promise of Sale contract while you are applying for a passport.

(2) Title in the Name of a Non-Dominican Republic Business

If you have decided to title your lot in the name of a non-Dominican Republic business, information about registering that business in the Dominican Republic is on our website at Titling Your Property. Please begin the process of registering your business as soon as possible. You can close on your lot and sign a Promise of Sale contract while you are registering your business.

(3) Title in the Name of a Dominican Republic Business

If you have decided to title your lot in the name of a Dominican Republic business, information about setting up a Dominican Republic business is on our website at Titling Your Property. Please begin the process of setting up your business as soon as possible. You can close on your lot and sign a Promise of Sale contract while you are setting up your business.
