Who We Are

Michael Williams is a co-founder of Rogue Investor, LLC. As President and CEO, he ensures that the project goals and milestones for the Ocean Star Estates development are met through managing the U.S. and Dominican Republic staff and the project budgets. Prior to Rogue Investor, Mr. Williams worked for Black & Veatch, Jacob's Engineering Group, and Environmental Advisors & Engineers. Specific management accomplishments included managing two multi-million dollar cleanups of Marley Cooling Towers and Pueblo Army Depot. He also oversaw the development of several residential real estate developments. Mr. Williams has a B.S. in Geology and an M.S. in Environmental Science.

Deborah Warner has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Rogue Investor, LLC and Mind Like Water, Inc. for over eight years, and she is the CFO for Ocean Star Estates, LLC as well. Ms. Warner has a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Management of Information Systems. She is a board certified CPA, licensed in Kansas since 1990. She has owned and run a successful accounting firm for over 10 years. Ms. Warner's specialty is small business and real estate accounting and taxes.

Diane Faile is a co-owner of Rogue Investor, LLC and is its Legal Specialist. She has B.A. degrees in Biology and English, an M.S. in Zoology, and a J.D. with an Environmental and Natural Resources Certificate. Ms. Faile serves as the Closing Specialist for Ocean Star Estates. She takes clients through the entire process, from deposit to final closing documents, and works closely with Ms. Jaquez, the Dominican Republic attorney, to ensure that everything is completed in accordance with that country's laws.

Mayling Marquez has been with Rogue Investor, LLC for three years as its Graphic Artist and Internet Marketer. She is responsible for designing, creating and managing all marketing materials related to the Ocean Star Estates development, including websites, information packages, event displays and promotional mailings. Ms. Marquez has a B.F.A. degree in Design and Illustration, and is fluent in both Spanish and English. She serves as an interpreter and liason between the U.S. and Dominican Republic teams.

James Grow is the Sales Consultant for Ocean Star Estates. He has over 30 years of sales experience with two Fortune 500 companies, and has successfully developed unique marketing strategies in many diverse markets, including the real estate construction industry. Mr. Grow has a B.S. in Distributive Education, with a concentration in marketing. He is the President and founder of JEG Sales, Inc.

Christina McDonough recently joined Rogue Investor, LLC as the Ocean Star Estates Project Manager. Her primary responsibilities are to identify and execute opportunities for marketing Ocean Star Estates, manage the independent sales team, develop model design packages for home building at the development, and use her interior design skills to assist buyers during the home building process. Ms. McDonough has a B.S. in Public Relations and a B.F.A. in Interior Design.

Carlos Rodriguez is the Construction Manager for Ocean Star Estates. He is the founder of Constructura Cafra, S.A., and has helped manage construction projects throughout the Dominican Republic. Mr. Rodriguez manages the development's site coordinator (Henri Rodriguez), project surveyor (Juan Buatista), project civil engineer (Bernardo Rodriguez), project architect (Francisca Perez), as well as all subcontractors. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

Humberto Metz Sosa is responsible for Client Relations and Sales in the Dominican Republic. He manages the development's sales office in Luperon, and conducts tours of Ocean Star Estates and the surrounding area for potential buyers and those who have already purchased.  Mr. Sosa worked at the Riu, one of the largest all-inclusive hotels in Puerto Plata. He currently attends the University in Santiago, and is fluent in four languages: Spanish, English, French and German.

Carmen Jaquez has worked as a licensed Dominican Republic Attorney since 1994. She is experienced in numerous real estate and civil transactions. Ms. Jaquez works closely with Mr. Williams and Ms. Faile to ensure that all transactions and actions related to the Ocean Star Estates development comply with local government requirements in the Dominican Republic.
