Here we are at the entrance to Ocean Star Estates, 43 acres of prime ocean-view property.

Entrance to Ocean Star Estates
We are starting our tour at the highest point on the property, approximately 150 feet above sea level. Nearby is the Caribbean’s highest point, Pico Duarte, at 10,094 feet. Duarte is one of 20 peaks in the "Dominican Alps,” and it towers above the protected reserve of Bermudez National Park. Twelve major rivers rush through this immense park, including the two largest rivers in the Caribbean.
As we step inside the entrance, look to the north for your first, unforgettable view of the Atlantic Ocean from Ocean Star Estates. Isn’t this the view you’ve dreamed of waking up to every morning?
Let’s continue our tour by heading towards Block C. Before we leave Block A, though, envision a clubhouse perched here at the highest point of Ocean Star Estates, with a patio overlooking the beautiful ocean.
This is where residents of the development will be able to socialize, play cards, enjoy a drink on the patio under palm trees moving gently in the wind, watch the sunset, or otherwise relax in the tropical ambience. You might even see a humpback whale, as thousands of these “great whales” from the North Atlantic migrate to the waters of the Dominican Republic each winter to mate and give birth. The ocean bordering Ocean Star Estates is a favorite area for viewing whales. Imagine being able to see a whale from your own property. Samana Bay, about 70 miles northeast of Puerto Plata, is considered by the World Wildlife Fund to be one of the best places in the world to watch whales.
